4th of July

Today after Church the Bowlers and the Neweys came over for burgers and hotdogs.  We played Power Grid and then did sparklers and small fireworks in the front yard.  It was a lot of fun!!

My sweet Alice!  I love this little dress and the boys had shorts to match!

The boys still had a ton of energy to burn, so they attacked Doug.

Easter Egg Hunt at the Zoo

We went to the zoo on Saturday and while we were there, the city was having an Easter egg Hunt.  What a nightmare, I think in 2 seconds all the eggs were gone.  Hunter got 1 egg, Cole got none and Ammon was the most upset with 5 eggs, but he was nice and gave one of his eggs to Cole when he realized what had happened.  The Zoo was so nice, lots of baby animals.  We got to see a Ring tailed Lemur with twins.  She was carrying one on her back and one on her tummy.  Wish my camera could have focused past the fence for that picture.

Going to the Farm

For Easter weekend we went to Clovis and stayed at my Grandmother's farm.  My Sister and her Family and my Dad also showed up.

Daddy & Daughter

This little girl has got her Daddy wrapped around her little finger and she knows it.  Whenever Doug is home she thinks that he needs to be holding her and will give the pathetic little whimper if she isn't.  Doug will not put her down either.  Once she is in his arms his excuse for everything is "but I'm holding Alice".  On Cole's birthday, Doug tried to take the cake out of the freezer with one hand, and why??  Because he was holding Alice.  Good thing I was there to catch the cake.

Such a sweetie covering her beautiful smile.

These 2 yahoos, couldn't see the camera without have their picture taken too.

Cole is 3!!!

Today is Cole's Birthday.  He is such a sweet little man that really hates change, which might explain why he didn't follow Hunter out on the 29th.  Cole was born at 12:38 a.m., a little more than 4 1/2 hours after his twin brother.  Unlike his brother, I got to hold Cole when he was born.  The midwife was amazed, she said "after all she's been through look at her kiss and love on that baby".  I didn't want to let him go.  After 5 weeks of contractions and 39 hours of labor, this was my reward!

Today, Cole is a great big brother to his baby sister.  He actually seems to enjoy sharing and making others happy.  Which makes it interesting that he is the most violent of my boys.  Don't tick off Cole!!  We are working on him not throwing toys or hitting with toys when he gets mad.  Cole is also potty training and doing very well, he just needs to figure out how to get #2 in the potty and then we will be good.  While Hunter has no volume control, Cole is very soft spoken and when his brothers are napping or gone with daddy he will talk your ear off.

Today for his Birthday, Cole wanted to go to McDonald's and play with some of his friends.  Afterwards we took the boys to go see 'How to Train Your Dragon'.  Cole unfortunately fell asleep in the car ride to the theater, so I had a feeling he wouldn't make it through awake.  Sure enough he curled up in the seat and fell asleep about half way through the movie.  He didn't seem to mind though, he still said that he liked the movie.

Cole opened his gifts on Hunters Birthday, but we did have another cake for Cole's.
