Today is Cole's Birthday. He is such a sweet little man that really hates change, which might explain why he didn't follow Hunter out on the 29th. Cole was born at 12:38 a.m., a little more than 4 1/2 hours after his twin brother. Unlike his brother, I got to hold Cole when he was born. The midwife was amazed, she said "after all she's been through look at her kiss and love on that baby". I didn't want to let him go. After 5 weeks of contractions and 39 hours of labor, this was my reward!
Today, Cole is a great big brother to his baby sister. He actually seems to enjoy sharing and making others happy. Which makes it interesting that he is the most violent of my boys. Don't tick off Cole!! We are working on him not throwing toys or hitting with toys when he gets mad. Cole is also potty training and doing very well, he just needs to figure out how to get #2 in the potty and then we will be good. While Hunter has no volume control, Cole is very soft spoken and when his brothers are napping or gone with daddy he will talk your ear off.
Today for his Birthday, Cole wanted to go to McDonald's and play with some of his friends. Afterwards we took the boys to go see 'How to Train Your Dragon'. Cole unfortunately fell asleep in the car ride to the theater, so I had a feeling he wouldn't make it through awake. Sure enough he curled up in the seat and fell asleep about half way through the movie. He didn't seem to mind though, he still said that he liked the movie.
Cole opened his gifts on Hunters Birthday, but we did have another cake for Cole's.
