Carlsbad Caverns

Today we went to Carlsbad Caverns with Paul, Anna, Jacob, Mark and Pearl.  It was exhausting but a lot of fun.

For my Friend

Well a few weeks ago one of my friends came over and helped me use my sewing machine for the first time since I got it 2 years ago.  She is a really great lady, so for my next project I decided to make a blanket and a changing pad to put in her diaper bag.  I found the flannel at Walmart.  For the changing pad I bought a package of crib pads and cut 1 in half.

Alice is 1 month Old

Can't believe that it has already been a month since this sweet little girl entered our lives.  She brings such peace to our home.  The boys love her!  Cole always tells me "Alice is pretty" and Ammon tells me "I like Alice a lot, Mommy".  Hunter just has to know where she is at all times.  She also makes the funniest noises.  Doug and I like to just sit and listen to her growl at us.  We had a fun little photo session in our breakfast nook this morning. She was so alert.
