1st Day of School

Well today was Ammon's 1st day of Kindergarten and Hunter and Cole's 1st day of Pre-school.  It was a crazy busy day, but super fun.  Here are my boys all ready for school.  The twins backpacks are almost the same size as them.
This is how we started the day.  We have been having issues keeping them out of our bed in the morning.  I think Hunter and Cole joined us around 4 and Ammon was sometime before that.  Ammon and Hunter woke up just fine, but Cole cried and refused to eat breakfast for about 20 minutes.
Here are the boys in front of the house.  They were so excited.

Ammon at his desk in his Kindergarten classroom.  I didn't cry!  It was so hard though.  I was fine in the classroom, but walking my baby down that big hallway teared me up.  When I picked him up he was excited about getting to take his lunch to school and laugh with the boy that sits next to him in class.

Well because of all the traffic and having to park pretty far away from the school, Hunter and Cole were a little late for their first day.

`Hunter and Cole ran into their classroom, hung up their back packs and dove into their play doh.  They didn't even flinch when I left.  When I picked them up they were all smiles, telling me about the slide, digging in the dirt, coloring a paper and singing the ABC song.

4th of July

Today after Church the Bowlers and the Neweys came over for burgers and hotdogs.  We played Power Grid and then did sparklers and small fireworks in the front yard.  It was a lot of fun!!

My sweet Alice!  I love this little dress and the boys had shorts to match!

Yes, Paul is a different one.  Here he is pretending to be smoking the punk.

Doug had to light several sparklers at a time to keep up with demand.

I LOVE this picture of Cole!

Claire and Duncan going crazy!

Paul, Hunter, Cole, Ammon and Claire enjoying the fireworks.  They were all screaming "kill the street!"

Ammon, Cole, Hunter, Mia, Claire, Ella and Duncan such a patriotic crowd.

The boys still had a ton of energy to burn, so they attacked Doug.

Easter Egg Hunt at the Zoo

We went to the zoo on Saturday and while we were there, the city was having an Easter egg Hunt.  What a nightmare, I think in 2 seconds all the eggs were gone.  Hunter got 1 egg, Cole got none and Ammon was the most upset with 5 eggs, but he was nice and gave one of his eggs to Cole when he realized what had happened.  The Zoo was so nice, lots of baby animals.  We got to see a Ring tailed Lemur with twins.  She was carrying one on her back and one on her tummy.  Wish my camera could have focused past the fence for that picture.

Going to the Farm

For Easter weekend we went to Clovis and stayed at my Grandmother's farm.  My Sister and her Family and my Dad also showed up.

Daddy & Daughter

This little girl has got her Daddy wrapped around her little finger and she knows it.  Whenever Doug is home she thinks that he needs to be holding her and will give the pathetic little whimper if she isn't.  Doug will not put her down either.  Once she is in his arms his excuse for everything is "but I'm holding Alice".  On Cole's birthday, Doug tried to take the cake out of the freezer with one hand, and why??  Because he was holding Alice.  Good thing I was there to catch the cake.

Such a sweetie covering her beautiful smile.

These 2 yahoos, couldn't see the camera without have their picture taken too.
